SC additives
A suspension concentrate (SC) is a stable formulation with suspended solid active ingredient particles in an aqueous or water-soluble liquid phase. To achieve this stability co-formulants like dispersing agents, wetting agents and rheological modifiers are used.
SL additives
A soluble concentrate (SL) is a clear to opalescent liquid concentrate where the active ingredient is completely dissolved in the liquid phase. To ensure the biological efficacy of the active ingredient adjuvants like wetting agents are used.
EC additives
An emulsifiable concentrate (EC) is a clear liquid formulation in which the active ingredient is dissolved in a water insoluble organic solvent. The addition of emulsifying agents ensures a spontaneous emulsification upon dilution with water.
OD additives
An oil dispersion (OD) is a stable suspension of active ingredient(s) in an oil-based carrier. To achieve this stability co-formulants like non-aqueous dispersing agents, wetting agents and rheological modifiers are used. The addition of emulsifying agents ensures a spontaneous emulsification upon dilution with water (spray mixture).
SE additives
A suspo-emulsion (SE) formulation is a stable suspension where solid active ingredient particles and emulsified oil droplets coexist within a single system. To achieve this stability, co-formulants like dispersing agents, emulsifying agents and rheological modifier are used.
WP and WDG additives
Wettable powder (WP) is a solid formulation consisting of finely grinded particles of the active ingredient(s) that forms a suspension when mixed with water. Water dispersible granules (WDG) are solid non-dusty granular formulation that forms a suspension when mixed with water. To achieve stability of these formulations, co-formulants like solid dispersing and wetting agents are used.
Tank mix adjuvants
Tank mix adjuvants are additives intended to be given directly into the spray mixture to improve the utilization or the biological efficacy of active ingredient(s) and fertilizer treatment.
